The Grove, a well-known and highly desirable location Didsbury, needed to replace its non-original front door with a more fitting option that preserved the property's traditional charm. Additionally, the client desired the transformation of the double doors at the back of the property to complement the newly installed front door.

Located in the heart of Didsbury, The Grove is surrounded by a vibrant community and a bustling high street. The historical significance of the building meant that any modifications had to be executed with utmost care and consideration.

BRIEF & CHALLENGES

The project presented our team with some unique challenges due to the building's graded status. Before commencing any work, detailed drawings had to be prepared and submitted to the conservation office for approval. Ensuring that the proposed changes aligned with preservation guidelines was crucial to maintaining the property's heritage.

On the designated day, our craftsmen arrived at the property to carry out the installation swiftly and seamlessly. To ensure the property's security, a high-security 5-point locking system was incorporated into the design, perfectly blending modern security measures with traditional aesthetics.
